How does the integration work?

When a customer calls, they may be asked to verify their identity using BankID during the call:

  • The customer enters their national ID number

  • A reference code appears in the BankID app and is read aloud on the phone

  • The customer verifies their identity using BankID

  • The advisor is notified immediately once the customer has been verified

This allows the advisor to get right to the point, confident that they are speaking with the right person.
